Brief Description:

The Rose Theatre is proud to present its first interactive murder mystery: Roaring 20's Murder: Death by Bathtub Gin! Actors from the Rose and volunteers from attendees will be the murder suspects--and NO ONE but the "murderer" will know "who dun it" until the end of the show!

THE STORY: It's 1923, and the speakeasy is packed for the birthday party of Al Spumoni, the world-famous bootlegger and ice cream tycoon. The lights are dimmed for Al to blow out the candles on his cake. When the lights come back up, Al toasts his guests, takes one sip of his special drink, then chokes and dies. Who poisoned Al's bathtub gin while the lights were out? Was it one of the gangsters in the room? A disgruntled bartender? A visiting silent film star? Or could it have been--YOU?

There are four performances (November 19-21 at 6:30 P.M. and a matinee on November 21 at 1:30 P.M.) Each features a "Happy Half-Hour," when mocktails and light snacks will be served, followed by the murder mystery and dessert during intermission. It will be a full evening (or afternoon) of laughs and interaction.

With only 56 seats for each performance, you will want to get your tickets early! AND, AS A SPECIAL ATTRACTION--AUDIENCE MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO COME IN ROARING 20'S COSTUMES! The theater will also sponsor a 50-50 raffle at each performance, with the winner's name being drawn during Saturday evening's intermission.
